We found Lady on 07/07/2014 someone had left her on State Land when she was one year old. She was suffering from dehydration and malnutrition together with Lyme Disease no collar or chip. Our vet was amazing and we brought her home where she lived and was loved on our farm until she was over 12 years old. She became our fur baby, best friend and emotional support precious baby. She loved walks on our 128 acres of land with her dad 4 times a day. In Winter she would go snow shoeing with him, Lady would rouse the ruffed grouse, chase off the geese, find moles and mice to eat and even chase the deer off her land. She loved her food, especially when we BBQ and had hamburgers, steak and even corn, she was always a foodie. She was such a love and joy to have around. Over a year ago she had hip dysplasia and managed to still go out and walk, however a month ago she tore the ACL in her knee. That combined with stage one kidney failure caused her health to turn wherein she lost her quality of life and was starting to suffer beyond what she should have to bear. We made the sad, regrettable decision for her benefit sending her to “doggy heaven” where I’m sure she’s running the fields of God’s beautiful Kingdom as she did the fields of our farm. Our hearts mourn her loss but do look forward to seeing her again.
