Surmising everything you did during your 13 years on earth is harder than I ever could’ve imagined when I was handed your leash in 2012. 9 year old me and 1 year old you finding our way in this world took us further than I ever dreamed of. People can look in the record books and find every amazing thing you did while surrounded by ring gating; but they’ll never see you at your best, being my best friend. You watched my first heartbreak, watched me learn to drive us to pet shows, watched friends come and go, let me paint your nails while we sat at home during covid, and let me bathe you every time in cupcake shampoo for the first year of our time together. You did everything I asked of you with the more loyalty than I could ever ask for. I have yet to find a dog as devoted to a person as you were to us. Butt scratches forever my love 🩵
